I built VoiceDictation to remember which app or MANTIS terminal started the recording. It transcribes locally and sends the text back there. If it cannot prove the destination, it saves and copies the transcript instead of guessing.

    The recording indicator stays visible while the real terminal remains active.

Problem

Windows dictation was too slow and unreliable for long work. Switching apps could also send the words to the wrong place.

What I built

I built a local app that transcribes, remembers the starting app or terminal, and stops safely when the destination is uncertain.
